Moms Next Door fulfills fundamental family needs
so mothers can prioritize their own self-care.
We believe when a mother has her and her children's physical needs met, she is freer to focus on her own wellbeing, which in turns leads to happier and healthier children living in our communities.

Moms Next Door Volunteer ForceWe know that happy kids start with happy moms. That's why we work to connect mothers in communities everywhere to give them a stronger network of support while promoting guilt-free self-care.
Our Moms Next Door Volunteer Force consists of friends, family, neighbors, individuals, and businesses that come together to serve their community's mothers and children who are in need. Visit our Facebook page to find the Volunteer Force group near you. |
When a mother and her children are supported emotionally and practically, the mother is better equipped to manage stress, care for herself physically and emotionally, and raise her children in a more loving, caring, and patient home.
Psychologist Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a motivational theory in psychology comprising a five-tier model of human needs. Needs lower down in the hierarchy must be satisfied before individuals can tend to needs higher up. Moms Next Door works to assist moms in securing the lower tiers of this pyramid so that their higher needs may be met. |
